Pedagogy: Theory and Practice

The collection of scientific articles "Pedagogy: theory and practice" has been published in Liepaja since 2002.It provides an opportunity for researchers and lecturers, as well as students, to stimulate discussion and exchange of views at conferences and to publish research results on current problems in the field of education sciences and their solutions.

The creation of the first collection involves articles from the conference of May 30, 2001, which was organized in cooperation with colleagues of the Elblong University (Poland), updating pedagogical innovations in teacher education.

12 editions of the collection of articles summarize the reports read at the conferences of the University of Liepaja in relation to pedagogy and education. Electronic articles have been available in the Digital Library of the National Library of Latvia since 2011. Since 2020, published articles have been assigned a Doi index and are registered in the international metadata catalog Crossref.

All articles are peer reviewed anonymously. Last updated inventory release No. 12 (2023) is indexed in the Education Source Ultimate section of the EBSCO database.
